UnLocal is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing direct legal representation and community education to undocumented immigrants in New York City. We have seen countless attacks on immigrants over the past several years, and UnLocal is committed to rolling back the harms done and building a future that recognizes our collective humanity. Funds raised through our annual benefit auction enable UnLocal to represent vulnerable immigrants in affirmative applications and removal proceedings, including those facing imminent deportation. They also fund our Queer Immigrant Justice Project, which provides holistic representation and education to LGBTQIA immigrants, our Rapid Response Legal Collaborative, and make it possible for our Education and Outreach team to conduct workshops on rapidly evolving immigration policy shifts and the latest Covid-19 updates.
